I’ve been shaping surfboards from my  workshop in Bude, Cornwall since 1995. Making boards for Joss & Reubyn Ash over the last 20 years has helped refine my knowledge of design and shaping of great performance surfboards. Everything I’ve learned from working with these pro surfers I can translate into all of my customer’s surfboards.

Working with the best & most professional glassers locally in Cornwall that match my eye for detail. I believe my surfboards are as good as can possibly be. Everything from the blank to the glass is to this aim. To be the best. 
I’m a believer in teamwork and we all stand by our work proudly.

From beginners to pro’s to full time semi-pro’s we shape all types of surfboards for all types of surfers.

Joss Ash grew up at Widemouth Bay bude surfing from a young  age where his surfing talent shone through and enabled him to go on and take many British surfing titles.

Elder Brother to Reubyn Ash and longtime buddy with Carl. Joss has an invaluable role helping Carl refine and define our performanace surfboards.  

Sketch is a local Bude surfer and longtime friend of CC surfboards. He’s helped develop new board shapes, SK perfornace model, and is often at the factory helping with all aspects of what we do.

You’ve probably seen him at the beach whenever there’s swell. Always super keen to get a wave in.
